The results, published on Thursday, April 30, 2026, covered five subjects:Specialized Information, Information Organization and Management, Newspaper Firms,
Enhanced Practical Sessions, Complementary Courses.
Most students who failed recorded scores between 7 and 9 out of 20, while those who passed averaged between 10 and 12.
| Course | Percentage Pass |
| Information Organization and Management | 52% |
| Complementary Courses | 50% |
| Enhanced Practical Sessions | 42.85% |
| Specialized Information | 34.21% |
| Newspaper Firms | 33.33% |
| Overall percentage | 42.48% |
In other journalism levels, while results were mixed, the success rate was notably higher.
The resit session was the final opportunity for students to make up for previous academic lapses. For many, their academic standing for the semester is now finalized; those who failed will be required to retake these courses next year.
However, students with a score of 9 still have a chance; they must perform exceptionally well during the second semester to potentially benefit from the final jury deliberations.
