Student journalists get military insight on conflict security

Student Journalists of the Advanced School of Mass Communication ASMAC , have gained deeper understanding of peace keeping operations and military perspective behind conflict management.

This was during a press Conference organised by the International War College of Yaounde.

The conference took place on thursday 9th April 2026 at Simbock and was supervised by the Director of ASMAC Professor François Marc Modzom, alongside the Cordinator Alain Mouange , and Head of Radio department of ASMAC Nana Blaise

The event provided an opportunity for media engagement on pressing security concerns.

During the exercise, military generals addressed participants and responded to questions on the current conflict situation, as well as related challenges affecting regional stability.

The exercise, known as the Multinational Joint Peacekeeping Exercise forms part of broader efforts to strengthen cooperation and readiness among participating forces.

At the end of the press interaction, the event reinforced ASMAC’s commitment in institutional partnership, encouraging students to remain informed and engaged in national security discussions.

More grace in this beautiful path we have chosen. For we know it isn’t easy but one sure fact is that slow but surely, we will arrive. More hypes and courage
